Zoran Sretić is an Of Counsel at Ilić | Stojković law firm.

His practice focuses on competition law, computer law, environmental law, intellectual property rights (IPR), and state aid. Zoran’s experience includes as well advising on matters related to the EU internal market rules, and in particular on trade, state aid, competition and IPR aspects of the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA).

Prior to joining Ilić | Stojković law firm, Zoran was Of Counsel at Gecić, Aksić & Stojković law firm. He advised on competition, state aid and SAA related aspects of privatization of Zelezara Smederevo. He also preformed antitrust, state aid and IPR due diligence to transactions involving corporate clients such as AirSerbia, Alitalia, Etihad, Profimedia, Samsung, etc. During his tenure at Serbian European Integration Office (SEIO) as a senior legal counsel, Zoran advised chief negotiator of the Government of Serbia in the process of accession to the EU. He assisted and advised line-ministries and governmental agencies in approximation of legislation with the Community/EU law in the area of the EU competition, state aid and internal market rules, environmental law, agriculture and rural development, food safety law, and intellectual property rights. Zoran was a member of the negotiating team of the Serbian Government for conclusion of the SAA with the EU and its Member States.

Zoran is associate to the Center for European Policies (CEP) and member of the Center for Intellectual Property Rights. He was a guest lecturer at University of Belgrade Faculty of Law, Master in European Integration.

Zoran earned LL.M. in competition law from the University of London, Queen Mary School of Law and LL.M. in EU and international business law from the European Center for Peace and Development (ECPD). He completed his LL.B. at the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Law. Zoran is fluent in English and Serbian. Zoran passed the Bar Exam in April 2016.

He holds the co-authorship on The Business Guide to the Stabilization and Association Agreement (ISAC fund, 2008, Belgrade), Challenges of the European Integration Process in the Field of Environment and Sustainable Development (PALGO centar, 2011), and Guide through the EU Policies – Trade (Evropski pokret u Srbiji, 2011).
